Chelsea haven’t had the perfect start to the season both on and off the pitch. The reigning champions were surprised by a shock defeat to Burnley on the opening day. It appears Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte is furious at the circumstances in which he finds himself. As summer began, three strikers presented themselves as options to front the Chelsea side yet now Conte has one wishing not to return to the club in Diego Costa, another playing for top of the league side Manchester United causing trouble left, right and centre in Romelu Lukaku and his current striker, who hasn’t fully settled in with the club, Alvaro Morata. Despite Conte’s lack of faith, Morata has managed to get off to a strong start with the west London club, putting two goals and two assists to his name in the first three Premier League games. His third goal and assist are therefore looking likely to occur at Chelsea’s next match versus Leicester City with tickets available to buy on Football Ticket Pad.
Leicester City tickets have continued to increase in demand since they won the Premier League title in 2016 but like Chelsea, their season hasn’t been as perfect as they’d hoped this year. Two losses and only one win at the start of the season places the foxes in a worrying 15th place. Saturday the 9th of September will see Ex-Leicester City midfielders N’golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater return to the King Power, only hoping to come out on top against a side they once won the league with. Will their feelings towards a club that has done so much for their careers get in the way of progress for their new club? Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy doesn’t seem to think so claiming that “Come Kick off time, they’re enemies.”
Saturday’s full-time whistle will mark the end to a match with no shortage of drama, entertainment, and tremendous efforts, with three points going to the side that wants them the most. Eden Hazard’s return to the West London football team is highly anticipated. Due to an ankle injury he missed the beginning of the season and is still yet to play alongside new arrival Morata. Will he be able to cope with the hugely contrasting character change of his striking counterpart? He may not be used to the kind and well gestured spaniard due to the brutality and recklessness shown by Costa in past seasons that the 26 year-old Belgian has become accustomed to. It would seem Eden Hazard is not quite sure himself who he’d rather play alongside, expressing excitement to build a relationship on the pitch with the new arrival whilst also begging his long lasting teammate to return from his self-imposed exile. As Hazard warms his way back into the game, we will begin to see how this situation plays out. Whether it be a blossoming friendship or a huge misunderstanding between Hazard and Morata, it will make for entertaining football.
